“Originally from Timaru, New Zealand, I did what a lot of kiwis do and travelled around the world, finally stopping in Dublin, Ireland.

I was lucky enough to be able to work and study in Dublin and I completed my BA Hons degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy whilst I was there.  I then worked in a variety of roles during my time in Ireland, which were mainly in the child and family services.

After a number of years away I felt the call home so I returned to New Zealand with my family and eventually found my way back to my home town of Timaru.   I continued to worked  as a counsellor and trained for two years in Child Centred Play Therapy, in Hamilton.

I am currently studying a Post Grad in Child and Adolesent Mental Health and working at Discover Therapy in Timaru.”
